BNHS Awareness Bird Walk at Vetal Tekdi Trail

Date: 08th February 2026 Join us this Sunday to explore the natural heritage of Vetal Tekdi. Along the trail we will look to understand the role that urban forests play in our climate-stressed future and how conserving our hills is imperative for the collective future of our city. Starting Time: 7.00 AM Duration of walk: 1.5-2.0 hours Distance covered: ~ 2.5 Kms Meeting Place: Banyan Tree near ARAI Building | https://maps.app.goo.gl/vEApu7y8dLHuJxko8 What to wear: Easy-fitting full-length clothes, (preferably of green/brown/grey/dark blue color), sun cap/hat, shoes that cover ankles and toes completely. Please wear layered clothing as appropriate. What to avoid wearing: Jewellery items, slippers, shorts and sleeveless tops. Avoid white, yellow, orange, and other bright colours. What to carry: Bottle of water, binoculars/camera if available.
