Join BNHS this Environment Day for a refreshing nature trail through Cubbon Park, Bengaluru’s green heart amidst the bustling city. As we walk through its tree-lined avenues and rich biodiversity, we will explore the importance of urban green spaces in supporting wildlife, improving climate resilience, and enhancing the well-being of city dwellers. Discover why conserving and nurturing our urban ecosystems is essential for a sustainable future. Starting Time: 8:00 a.m. Duration of Walk: 1–1.5 hours Distance Covered: Approximately 3 km Meeting Point: Cubbon Park Gate, opposite Kanteerava Stadium Google Maps Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/qFSQbmAQKPWms9pp9?g_st=iw What to Wear: Comfortable full-length clothing (preferably in green, brown, grey, or dark blue shades), a sun cap/hat, and sturdy shoes that fully cover the ankles and toes. Please wear layered clothing as appropriate. Participants may also carry rainwear. What to Avoid Wearing: Jewellery, slippers, shorts, sleeveless tops, and bright colours such as white, yellow, orange, etc. What to Carry: A water bottle and binoculars/camera, if available.
